Panchkula : The Punjab BJP on Friday took its Gandhi Jayanti observance outside the conference room, with state president Kewal Singh Dhillon leading party leaders and workers in a cleanliness drive around the hotel where the party’s two-day organisational meeting is being held.

BJP National General Secretary (Organisation) B. L. Santhosh also joined Dhillon and party workers in the early-morning drive, held under the party’s ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’ to mark 25 years of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s public life.

The exercise was organised in the areas surrounding the hotel in Panchkula. Party leaders and workers cleaned the surroundings and took up the activity as a public demonstration of the cleanliness message associated with Mahatma Gandhi on his birth anniversary.
